Still on my to buy list...

Ugh...I'm dead broke, which is why it's a good thing that most of these aren't even out yet. Well lets see, the Figmas I still "need" to get...

Photobucket

Nanaho from Magic Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. I haven't watched the anime yet, but the figure looks pretty cool.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Fate, also from the same show. Her sword looks pretty similar to Gut's sword. Gotta have this figure.

I still need to complete my SOS-dan.

Photobucket

Kyon, the least favorite in the show.

Photobucket

Koizumi, a little bit more likeable than Kyon.

Photobucket

And Mikuru. I'm not really a big fan of Mikuru...or the others, but you can't have a SOS-dan without them.

And oh noes~! Lucky Star is getting the Figma treatment! But I'll probably pass on those...oh who am I kidding, we all know I'll end up getting them...

Photobucket

Konata from Lucky Star. The others will be released too, they just haven't gone up for preorder yet.

The thing that sucks about Figmas is that they feel pretty brittle. I always get a near heart attack just from switching the hands alone.
With these and the Halo 3 series 2 action figures coming out, I'd better get a job soon. *Sigh* An adult wasting away his money on toys, cartoons, and video games...you know, if I had saved my money instead of wasting it on Otaku crap, I could've had a suped up sports car or whatever by now. *Sigh* Even sadder, a guy that knows nothing about cars...I suppose my only saving grace is that I don't like little kids. Oh snaps! Burn on all you otakus with lolita and shota complexes!!!

15?! Dude she told me she was 18! I swear!

Photobucket

This beauty's name is Irie Saaya and I hope you aren't having wild fantasies about her because she is currently 15 years old. She also happens to be a famous idol who has appeared in various films and television programs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irie_saaya

Jeez, I wish we had 15 year olds like her back when I was in high school. But seriously, what kind of hormones is she on?! (Side note, has anyone noticed that I use the word "seriously" a lot?)

Fate/Stay Night AV

LOL at Archer and the fight scenes. Again, this is the all ages version. If you're getting excited and must watch the adult version, then look elsewhere...you sick freak... >_>

Rozen Maiden AV

Seriously low standards on the men...not that I want them to be good looking or anything. Dudes, I really don't swing that way. I'm just saying, why are the guys so ugly? At least the chicks seem to be decent in this one, but the dude scoring looks like a frickin toad! The girls may be paid sluts, but they don't deserve that!

Haruhi AV

I'm guessing they have very low standards for male porn stars...
Wow, this video makes Haruhi seem more annoying than in the anime. Sorry to disappoint anyone looking forward to some Kyon on Haruhi action, but this video is the all ages version. ^_^;;

Lucky Star AV = Do not want!

AV stands for adult video I believe. Man do these chicks look nasty...almost as nasty as the dudes...

I wouldn't touch those chicks with a 100 foot pole.

Mecha Invasion

That's right folks, the Japanese have finally done it. They've completed their mecha army and are beginning to ship them out.

These things are currently being massed produced as we speak.

We are no longer safe...

Contact your local army for more information about how secure your country is against a mecha invasion.

That last post...

I can't edit it!
OMGZ! Is dis a signz?!?!?!
Is it the will of Haruhi that I not edit that post?!??!?!
Has I been OMGZWTFBBQHaxX0rzz by Haruhi? But seriously...it annoys me that I can't edit that last post...

Haruhiism

I don't know what it is about this show, but for some reason I am absolutely in love with it. The anime itself is average at best and I have never read the light novels. So why is it that I love this show so much???

Statue of Liberty Cannon

I knew the Statue of Liberty wasn't just an ordinary statue!

LOL the Statue of Liberty Cannon from G Gundam.

Never touch an otaku's pillow!

Here's why...

Photobucket

Don't worry, I may be otaku, but I'm not that much of an otaku. That's just too hardcore O_o

Duo Princess

Here's a pretty fun game to play during your spare time. It's called Duo Princess.

Photobucket

It's a 1-2 player action/adventure doujin game featuring the two princesses Maya and Mint from the game Threads of Fate.

Photobucket

What's surprising about this is that they're working together. Sorry I haven't played much of Threads of Fate and I can't read Japanese (which this game is in) so I have no idea how close the two of them are or were. Anyways, if you played a little of Threads of Fate, you would know that these two didn't get along.

Photobucket

The game consists of your basic attack and jump as well as specials. You can get different special attacks by finding some sort of spirit creature thing...hey I can't read Japanese so I have no idea of what's going on in the game. Anyways it's pretty fun competing with another player to see who can kill the most and rack up the most points. I don't really remember much about this game since it's been over a year since I've played it, but I believe you get infinite continues and lives. Again, I can't remember much, so don't quote me on that.

Photobucket

So yeah, if you have a lot of free time to spare and feel like trying it out, just download it here:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DRO6GACM

Which reminds me, I really should play and beat Threads of Fate.
For more information about Threads of Fate, a hidden gem published by Squaresoft (now Square Enix), go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threads_of_Fate

And if you're interested in their other games, the official website for the game makers can be found here: http://egs.cug.net/

MikuMikuDance

It's official. I am now a fan of the Vocaloid singing sensation, Miku Hatsune.
So yeah, after a few hours of browsing Miku Hatsune goodness on YouTube, I stumbled upon a little program called MikuMikuDance.

English version 1.30 http://www.geocities.jp/higuchuu4/index_e.htm
Japanese version 2.01 http://www.geocities.jp/higuchuu4/index.htm

It's a sweet little program that you can use to have Miku Hatsune move and dance around. You can have her dance to or sing your favorite songs or have her move around in a video.

This program is a must have for any Miku Hatsune fan.

English translated tutorials can be found here:

ARToolkit

Virtual reality is invading the real world! Oh noes~~!!!

This baby right here is the future of the entertainment business folks!

This is made possible by the use of an application called ARToolkit. The application is free to download and use. For more information about ARToolkit and to download the application please visit the official website at http://www.hitl.washington.edu/artoolkit.

Unfortunately, these virtual objects can only be seen on a computer or with the use of a special head set display like the one the woman is using in the picture below.

Photobucket

I mean come on, how cool is it to have your favorite card game battle come to life?

Or even a private concert in your very own room?

Not to mention being able to interact with virtual objects?

Ugh...I really need to get a web cam so that I can get started fooling around with this stuff.
Again, you can get information about ARToolkit as well as the application itself at http://www.hitl.washington.edu/artoolkit/

Eureka Seven

Photobucket

I've gotta admit that I stayed away from this show because of the concept of a surf boarding mech, but after a few recommendations, I've finally gotten around to watching the show and man am I hooked! I really need to get the DVDs one day.

Failing at life one day at a time.

Blog is up...now I just need to come up with a mascot and I'm still working on finding a decent camera...

Ultramegatek is now Online!

Woohoo! Finally got a blog site up and running. Now I just need to find a camera as well as stuff to talk about.
